More About Me

How often do you go there and back to see how far it is? It may sound like a strange journey to take, but in a world changing at the pace it is, understanding the emerging landscape around you, and the distances you may have to go to adapt, is critical.

For the past 10 years I’ve spoken to and worked with hundreds of companies, in multiple industries, in many countries around the world, to help disrupt their thinking around the changing world they work in.

I’m a sought after Keynote Speaker who researches the following areas:

  • Attracting and retaining talent (including generational differences, leadership and strategy);
  • Social Media and it’s impact on how we communicate and engage with each other;
  • Creativity and Innovation;
  • Broad Global Trends

A short overview of my history includes:

  • Born in Johannesburg, South Africa,
  • I moved to Durban in 1993 after taking up a position at a large Youth Development NGO.
  • I’m a founder of the International Youth Development Centre, a project that specialized in recruiting young adults from countries outside of South Africa and placing them in community development projects in and around Durban.
  • I was a founder and MD of trend business TomorrowToday, where I spent 10 years.
  • I’ve always been the Chief Imagination Officer wherever I’ve worked, and will continue to be that into the future.
  • I’m a member of the World Future Society

I’m often described as a creative, fun, energetic, sharp thinking social software activist, who loves taking organisations and individuals there are back to see how far it is.

I’m exceptionally proud of being a dad to 2 beautiful daughters.
